How to list your NFT on SolSea: A Quick Guide
SolSea is a unique NFT marketplace on the Solana blockchain that allows you to attach copyright licenses to your NFTs. With SolSea, independent creators from all around the globe can protect their art from being misused. Naturally, the perks don’t end here, but more on that later.
So, you delist your NFTs from one platform, ready to put them up on SolSea. How? Let’s find out:
Connect to SolSea and create an account
Start by visiting the official website and clicking on the “Connect Wallet” button in the top right corner. Select your wallet and click “Connect.”
Next, you’ll need to create an account to access the Creator Dashboard and unlock all the platform’s options. Click on “Register” and follow the instructions. Note that you’ll need to verify your email address to complete the registration process.
Access your Creator Dashboard
When you’re logged in to your new account, it’s time to start creating🪄! All the necessary creator tools to get started are located in your Creator Dashboard in the left side panel.
Before diving in, make sure to choose whether you want to launch a collection or an individual NFT, also known as a “1/1 NFT.” The latter option is typically easier, let’s go through the steps of creating the first NFT in a collection.
Create your first collection
A collection acts as a folder that groups your NFTs together based on a common theme or style. If you want to add NFT to a collection, you’ll need to create the collection itself first.
Go to your Creator Dashboard and click on “Create Collection.” Follow the on-screen instructions and choose a category that reflects the type of media you want your collection to contain. Once you’re done, add a title, short description, and long description of your collection. Next, you’ll need to upload a header and icon image for some visual boost on SolSea’s “Explore” page.
Once you’ve entered all the necessary details and double-checked everything, click “Create Collection.” It’s crucial to make sure all the information is correct, since there’s no editing on the blockchain.
When a transaction appears, click “Approve” to pay the required gas fees, and your first collection will be successfully created!
Apply for verification
Once you’re done with your collection, it’s time to get verified. For all collections minted outside SolSea, our Collection Verification Team verifies them through the first verified signer or you can leave your full hash list increase trust in your NFTs.

Put your NFT up for sale
If you want to sell your NFT, the next step is to list it on the marketplace. Thankfully, this is pretty straightforward:
- Make sure your collection is published and visible to other SolSea users.
- Go to your wallet and find your NFT in the ‘NFTs in Wallet’ section
- Click “List” and enter the price you want to sell it for.
- Approve the transaction that appears when you click “List” again.
